Whoa, slow your roll, bro.

I don't think there's any chance of DL pilots recapturing enough scope to cause that anyway. And even if that happens, there isn't the slightest reason to assume it would result in an SLI. Also, there is no way the DL pilot group is going to negotiate/pay for for something that could result in a potential seniority land grab which is exactly what some would try for. Maybe you would accept a staple and maybe most would also, but there would be more lawsuits that we would have to pay for either way and even the slightest chance of a greater than a staple attempt by even a few pilots would make the deal a non starter from the beginning.

Yeah, I know, I've made 100's of posts on that particular subject. Also, that situation happened here at Endeavor, and let me tell you, it was horrible.

If Delta ends up dissolving Endevour and takes you guys on the list (no interviews required) then I agree, you shouldn't have to have a degree. But if you are actually interviewing then I think you should have to meet the same mins that everyone else does. Disagree?

I completely agree with you. Like I was saying, DL will hire a bunch from the SSP. It isn't just about filling seats at DL, it's about filling seats and an ultra cheap Endeavor in the future. The relaxed hiring standards will help fill those vacant FO chairs at Endeavor.

The hiring standards for Endeavor shouldn't be below that of Delta, so this shouldn't even be an issue. That said, I would want the hiring standards to be even higher if I was applying, it simply weeds out more people, and gets to my number quicker. However, it really doesn't matter for outside hires because the SSP has a set number of slots per month. So they are coming anyway. I would rather they fill that slot with a good guy to fly with than a Dbag with a degree.

Fisher, you aren't competing against Endeavor pilots for a Delta job, look at it that way. Endeavor pilots are competing against other Endeavor pilots.

Don't Delta threads require an apology and the posting of side boob? SWA threads require you to sacrifice three cats???

Default Family members listed in the application

For those asking if Delta can see if you have family members at Delta or not the answer is yes they could but they choose not to. I emailed airline apps because they have a section where you can list family members who work in the airline industry. They replied telling me that Delta chooses NOT to see that. That is why when you print out your application you don't see it. However, if they write you a LOR then the board will see it when and if you get an interview.

Family member write a letter? I thought that was frowned upon...Also if that's the case how will they know of the legacies?
