True, but what you said about preparation is spot on.

Mil guys shouldn't go in and "wing" it. Ever since Day 1 of pilot training, heck, even back in IFT, extensive planning and preparation has been drilled in. Why would guys just go in and do an interview "off the cuff"?

The way I see it, Tom Wychor would not have negotiated a deal that destroyed pay and longevity across the express side of our profession if he did not have an exit strategy.
