Quote: Family member write a letter? I thought that was frowned upon...Also if that's the case how will they know of the legacies?
No it's good if your family member writes a LOR for you as long as they are an employee. This way the board sees that you are a legacy.

As far as those who send out the emails to Legacy applicants, your family member needs to send an email to a said address (it's on the delta employee webpage) from their employee email address.

Hope that helps.

Quote: But if you are actually interviewing then I think you should have to meet the same mins that everyone else does. Disagree?
Nope, don't disagree with that either. But keep in mind there's also the limited number of flows that DON'T even interview.

Life isn't fair, sucks...........

Quote: As a pilot on the outside I am not thrilled by this. I have my degree and I have my application in with Delta. I also believe that many of the SSP folks also have a degree. While I understand they are given preferential treatment when it comes to getting the interview, in the end at least the playing field is level because they have to meet the same standards. What I do not agree with is the now the SSP folks get preferential treatment in getting the interview and now they also do not have to meet as high a standard as the rest of us.

As I said, I am not currently an airline pilot. If I am missing something here I am sure you will set me straight.
I see your point sir but you need to get used to discriminatory practices and unequal treatment without a union. We just have association that try to act like a union but continue to fail in the process.

Quote: Dude, not to burst your bubble but I can tell you that DL WILL hire 90% + from the SSP degree or not, bedsides, we deserve it after all we've been through. I'm still looking forward to my interview!!

This arrogance from endeavor reminds me a lot of the Comair entitlement attitude. Good luck with that...

An Endeavor pilot who interviewed at Delta through the SSP was told by the hiring team that a 4-year degree is not a requirement under the bridge agreement they have with Endeavor.

Guess the vault letter really does exist.....

Troll. You lost all your credibility before this post. The above may or may not be true, but your post is meaningless because of your lack of credibility.

Dont think the whole pilot group has that arrogance. In fact many are very skeptical and dont think they will be hired by Delta. There are also those who haven't bothered to apply. I have heard of quite a few successful interviews though.
