Sooo...the only thing keeping me from dropping a C note at the hotel bar after the job offer was the appointment with Dr. Jellyfinger the next day--and the email encouraging me to refrain from drinking for 7 days prior to the interview (3 was all I could do
).
My gosh, I would get absolutely loaded if there was no medical check the next day. Especially if all 8 guys were hired.

Yes, plenty of civilian guys are getting hired. Right now the majority of people interviewing are military types due to the number of civilian flow agreements. Some SSP pilots received the email this week to interview.

But I guess flying a fighter has a lot of similarities.
I'm just curious if all types of mil guys are getting the same opportunity.....

While the civilian guys have different things to offer I was referring to the military types and specifically the non-fighter guys. All I've been seeing and hearing is that all the 2k hr fighter types are getting interviewed. I'm not seeing or hearing about the 4k+ military heavy guys being interviewed. Not that mil heavies have any thing in common with airline flying.
But I guess flying a fighter has a lot of similarities.
