Pancake, I have over a dozen friends in the military that have the same qualifications, and similar recommendations as each other for their apps at Delta. Only two have been called, and one of them hired. The one that got hired works for 9E.

The SSP should be extended to the former ASA and current DCI xjt guys as well. Last I heard, ALPA was working on it.

Mesabah,
When do you become a sub commander? Have you been scheduled yet?

As a DCI Captain with over 10k hours PIC. A masters degree along with being a check airman and sim instructor background, quit your crying and step in line for a chance to be interviewed. Being a military pilot only gives you veteran status, not some kind of "ace, super-duper special pilot". In fact your mission as a military pilot gives you a disadvantage simply because of what your missions were compared to my missions.

Be patient my friends, your time will come.

This should spark some interesting responses.

Didn't take long for the military vs civilian thing to happen. If you're a civilian, dinging military guys isn't going to do you any good; the majority of pilots at the majors still have military backgrounds. Besides, it's just bad form. And if you're from the military, please take a deep breath. The hiring has just begun, and all airlines are sifting through thousands of applicants.

It's not that it "happened", it's that it simply makes a resurgence on occasion. In this thread if you go back far enough, and others.

The ignorance is a two way street.

Yes. The Delta MEC was not notified as rquired under Section 40 of our Admin Manual. Delta's Reps read about the negotiations in the paper like everyone else, after the negotiations were completed. This sidestepped the role of the Delta MEC to deal with the problems of the Delta pilots.

I'm having to piece together your opinion from your previous posts, but I think your point is ALPA National authorized this bargaining behind the back of the Delta MEC and you are correct. I lobbied my Reps to place ALPA National on notice of our concerns. Informally, I believe they did so.

And just like I told you via PM, probably about as effective as voiding your bladder into the the effects of a pressure differential.
