What's the latest with regard to internals - does it matter if they use their @delta.com email address, or is a personal one okay? I seem to remember seeing both sides. Does anyone actually know for sure? Thanks.

Interviewed last month with 1 internal, used his personal email. CJO, in the pool.

I used both--but found it can sometimes take several weeks to months to get someone to figure out how to log into their company account and fill out the recommend. Personal accounts took only days.

I would be inclined to belive that is MOSTLY true. But just just like EVERY group has their (insert percentage here), there's probably some that disagree with that statement. "NRD's", "you were acquired NOT hired", etc. Like I said, a minority of folks. But EVERY airline has that minority.
FWIW I haven't seen a single attitude like that once. Maybe a tiny bit of alma matter chest thumping about a procedural difference or "how we used to do it" at brand X (I.T./dispatch, rest breaks, etc) but you just don't see any "tude" out on the line. Like none. As for the 1% issue, if everyplace has them, and everyplace does, then its not really an issue because its just part of the standard deviation.

Quite agree. I would estimate that Delta's pilot cost are around 7% of its total operating costs, i.e., not including debt servicing, etc. That means that we could go up by 30-40% (another $750M - $1B) before we'd hit the 10% mark.

Yeah fuel can triple and they just find a way to pay for it but a single digit pilot raise will instantly use up all the hydrogen in the star. Pffft.

That's ridiculous. You are just a whiner who wants to drag everybody down with you. Case in point, here comes a newbie that is talking about how much he wants to be here... and as an added bonus, it is OBVIOUS that this would not be his first rodeo, and right on cue you come in and rain all over his parade. What a joy you must be to share a cockpit with.

Oh, and I am far from "coasting out"... gonna remain senior to you for quite a few more years.. kiss kiss
Hey T, you know as I know, there are some pilots if you give them $1 million they will complain you didn't give them a big enough bag. Well I'm a self confessed Delta "kool aid" drinker, because its what I was drinking in my sippie cup at age 3 when I saw my grandfather get a water cannon salute at MSY in 1985... still not at delta, YET... But will never give up until told " thanks but don't ever apply again", until then, I will enjoy my time at endeavor and wait with a positive attitude, and enjoy life.

So is DAL on a pause this month for sending out interviews?

And, for the record, I was in the room when Kudwa was giving one of his speeches and it was,"Congratulations. You'll all retire millionaires!"

I haven't been back since.
Kudwa was a first class aZzhole and that is first hand opinion and information.
