Most importantly, get a DAL employee to send an email to the pilot selection team.

Best of luck.
Could someone please PM me the email for the pilot selection team. I have a buddy I wrote a rec for but wasn't aware of any email we could send. Thank you.

Go to DeltaNet, FlightOps, look down on the lower right (I think) for Pilot Selection..click on that and you'll see a letter from Steve Dickson. Open the letter and you'll see a link for direct email for recs to the selection committee. I think that's the format they want and should result in the applicant's resume to get scored immediately.

I guess interviews are then handed out based on that "score".

Hope that helps..

Default Updated interview Hotel

I just got an email about an interview. I am looking for hotel information and the most updated info was from 2007. Are most people still staying at the comfort inn for interviews/indoc or has it changed?

Thanks

Hilton or Renaissance. Both are a stones throw from the building

Most of the hotels on Virginia Ave. have a shuttle bus to the Delta General Offices (G.O.). Motel 6, Double Tree, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, etc. all offer crew rates. Take a peak at My Crew Guide dot com too.

Spend the money on the Hilton so you can walk to the interview without sweating. Yes, the other hotels have a shuttle. But I guarantee you that the time you wait for the shuttle when the driver sleeps in, has a flat, or gets stuck behind accident on way back from airport will be the longest minutes of your life.

Hilton has been known to give interviewers the Delta rate under $80/nt...

Don't stay at the hampton. I checked with the front desk 3 times the night before to ensure my shuttle was scheduled...next morning, no shuttle and a last minute scramble to get a taxi so I did show up late.
