Can't say for sure how the computer reads it but two applications that I had them fix such conflicts after a fix it email got invites. We fixed other smaller issues so can't say for certain that was the reason it was held up originally.

You've got to find a way to make a complicated round life fit in a square box that is screened with computer language. You can fill in the holes when you get the invite.

It is not a problem to have more than one job at a time. List all jobs on your application.

To keep things simple on your app, you fall into three different categories when it comes to your Employment History. You are either in school for college or flight training, you are working at a job or you or unemployed. Every day of your life from high school to today must be accounted for. Think of it as timeline.

No. I had multiple jobs at different times of my career - three simultaneously at one point - and at the time of my call to interview, I had two.

Or category four - you were in school AND had a job (or two or three, which was my case).

Just curious, what was your availability date? I'm trying to ascertain what "window" they might be looking into concerning availability.

Sorry for the late responses, long day of flying yesterday.

I just got in the habit of changing it to the Monday that was 2-3 weeks in the future each time I updated. I'm not sure how much bearing that has though. When I called yesterday to schedule the interview the earliest date was at the end of March. Some of the military guys who have dealt with retirement and separation dates may have better info on that.

Thanks!
Hey there Lear, seen you here a lot as I've been reading through the thread. I'm not sure if my background is going to be encouraging or baffling, as I am most definitely a very average, run of the mill RJ puke.

100% Civilian
3.9 GPA from an "aviation college" with a BS
7600TT
2400PIC/1700TPIC
6700 Part 121
1 Failed checkride (instructor rating, nothing 121)
Nothing on my record except a few traffic tickets.
3 LORs, one internal

Congrats. You have some great qualifications and it appears that Delta made the right choice in offering you an interview. From the way it looks, you look like you are still in the Tier 1 hiring for Delta.

Believe it or not, I changed it to "Option 2" (for lack of a better term) where the dates overlapped (ie. end one address on 5/31 and start the new address on 5/31). The reason being is that was how my address history was listed from when I had entered it into AirlineApps years ago when I applied to the airline I currently work for. It would seem the current vs. permanent address may have carried more weight? Not sure. So much voodoo in all this airline hiring stuff.

Has anyone ever received the invite for an interview in their Junk Mail? I really wonder how many people have been invited to an interview and yet they never knew it. Does anyone know if Delta will make a second attempt to contact you for an interview if they don't hear from you? How many invites go out for an interview and don't receive a response from Delta? I check my junk mail all the time in hopes it might be there but always wonder if I could have missed it as well.
