The plot thickens ;-)
So, is the internal rec that triggers a re-score one that is sent in to be added to the airlineapps file or one sent directly to pilot selection?

Trying to crack the code to get the invitation......transition leave is looming in less than 2 months. Retiring military, Masters Degree, 4500 TT, 1000 ME PIC, 3 internals (2 from CAs) 1 external......app on file 75+ weeks.

With the number of qualified applicants with a college degree I do not see Delta dropping the requirement anytime soon.

Check the "Delta Poolie" thread. Been a moving target of late.

Of course, that doesn't change your point--hard to nail down a timeline when the pace varies.... Good luck to all applicants & poolies!
It was hinted to my particular interview group that class sizes may get smaller this summer due to the backed up training pipeline but no specifics were given. I took the post of the latest drop (only 25 spots) as an indication of that but you may be right, there might have been 30 flows that had already selected.

From Capt OC Miller...

Yes a newhire can recommend someone. His response to that question was, "Are you a Delta Air Lines pilot or not?"

No extra points for a rec from a senior pilot. You need an email from your internal to the hiring office to get your APP scored. The score determines whether or not you get an invite.

I know two Compass flows that are on DL property now without college degrees, so it seems there's an exception to every rule.

Difference between what applies to a flow/SSP and what was negotiated and a true OTS pilot.
