Delta probably doesn't care what stupid things you did in college but if they do it's an easy fix.
Not so easy of a fix. Want to see something scary? Copy the direct link to the suspect page, then paste it here:

Then, look at that little graph at the top, and slide the slider back to sometime before the date you erased that picture of you in Thailand.

The Internet is forever.

You seem to see a lot of people changing their last name on Facebook these days in an apparent attempt to protect their privacy, but what are everyone's thoughts on here?
I sent you a PM for specifics. One thing I wanted to add for the public consumption: I flew with a captain who told me he got a call from a CP for stuff his wife posted on FB. I do not know if there are separate divisions that look into social media for established employees vs applicants, but at some level the company is looking at both you and your spouse.

Sounds like if you get on at Delta and don't act accordingly you will have Wilford Brimley from Bendini, Lambert & Locke after you.

I'm speculating but my guess is the Delta social network people come across objectional Delta content from time to time and if that objectional content involves a Delta employee they send it up the ladder. Tracking 80,000 employee's internet habits is a nearly impossible and entirely pointless endeavor but if they come across something while doing their jobs I could see them doing something about it. Bottom line: don't talk about your employer in a negative light on social media.

It's not just the millennials- the entitled baby boomers and Gen X are just as bad/pathetic.

Aren't the baby boomers (I'm one) still on "My Face" via AOL?

Well we're all screwed even since people figured out they can go the polls and vote themselves other people's money.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy."

--Alexis de Tocqueville

I think we're there.

That quote is mis-attributed. Alexander Fraser Tytler likely wrote it, or a version of it. De Tocqueville was a supporter of democracy, while noting the short-comings of the development of American classical liberalism.

Am I smart enough for a Delta interview yet or should I just keep asking for a "wind check" during those calm sunny days?
