If anybody has a question about their app send me a PM or email. Good luck.
I have a question. Aside from a very competitive application, my college GPA was 2.9. I believe this is a significant problem with Delta.

The good news is that I graduated in 3 years with a double major, research award and a physical science degree which is very useful in aviation.

I had to graduate in 3 years so I could pay for flight training. I was taking 20-25 credits per semester and during one semester I tanked as a family member was terminally ill. Out of my 6 semesters, all but one had a GPA of 3.4 or so.

How can I explain (on my app) this situation so I can reduce the negatively of the 2.9?

You basically just did

We've worked with plenty who had worse GPA's than 2.9..

They asked how to explain it on the app but there's good way that I can see.

Same boat! Served 4 years in the Navy then go out and did a couple years on campus before switching to online and working/flying full-time. GPA suffered as I bite off more than I could chew (taking 2-3 classes an online term and flying 90hrs a month.) I'm doing everything I can to stand out in other areas, and I really hope Delta notices that. Only time will tell! We just have to keep the faith. :-)

I was offered a CJO with a 2.9 GPA from a small private school. I took a full semester off to attend military training and still finished in 4yrs, thus my GPA suffered a little while I took 20 credit semesters to finish "on time" and not go further into debt. Again I think they look at the big picture. If you can justify it then it's probably not going to be an issue.

Right on, good job Paok.

What the lowest you've seen, non-mil, and no masters. Just a regular civilian with a 4 year.
