How does a mil heavy driver get to 1500TT without upgrading?
They have civilian time prior to joining the military as CFI, commercial pilot etc! And some reserve guard squadrons don't upgrade at 800 hours like the active duty. My squadron does but I know some airframes that seem to take forever.

Well that makes sense. In fact, yours truly can be classified similarly: I had around 2200TT when hired, with roughly 700TPIC. But earlier you mentioned 1500TT that was all mil heavy. That would be a different situation.

Pre-emptive answer to the how did I get an interview with such low time question: I look AMAZING in heels. 💃🏽

Per a buddy of mine: 9/11 yesterday. (He was one of the 9; hopefully 9/9 make it past the shrink today.)

Didn't hear about the backgrounds. Heard one mil guy was on his 2nd try, didn't make it (again)....

A buddy of mine said 2 civ, both hired, one was 2nd interview. Both non-selects mil, one interview, once COG test. AFAIK, all passed psych eval. Was a truly non-threatening environment, really put everyone at ease. Testing was not bad; study the topics they email you, all gouge questions are gone, but it's all the same concepts. If you can answer the questions on the gouge, you can answer the current ones. Said it was a very positive experience.

5/10 folks received CJO's today. Rough for some folks. Overall its been a great week! Earlier this week 9/11 and 8/10. Several failed as a result of the Cog others for the test and the rest HR. If your waiting on the interview hit the books and don't let up. Send me a pm if you have any questions!

Has the Cog test changed recently? If not, the web site for the cog test company has examples of all the tests.

Recent company memos show the current interview success rate for 2016 is 64%. This is worse than the 2015 success rate of 75%. I've heard the success rate for UAL in 2015 was close to 75% as well. They're are probably a myriad of reasons for this but the point is take the interview seriously, get prep and study the actual topics not just the gouge. Hope to see ya online soon.
