I have 6700 hrs, 550 TPIC, 4000+ PIC, Engineering BS, over 15 years of verifiable volunteer involvement, app on file about 7 years. Is there any reason to get someone to try and send another email, or should I just wait to finish the Master's degree first?

Do both - have someone email now, keep working on the degree. If you get called for a class soon you can figure it out. Many of us have flown and finished advanced degrees.

Good luck.

Pray tell... What will that advanced degree do for someone once hired, other than put you in more debt? These ridiculous unofficial requirements like masters degrees and volunteering just to check a box and placate some millenial HR pc micro offended bafoon is utter nonsense. And yeah I know i know, it's what has to be done if you want to work for delta. I don't.

I'm not getting the degree for the job, but I know that it helps with points. I have paid for it as I have attended, so I will not have any debt when I graduate. Graduate degree doesn't help with piloting, but it does help with decision making, leadership, and problem solving, all good Captain qualities.

I have heard that they will only review your app once per year unless something significant has changed with your app.

I don't think it "has to be done" at all. I'd say the vast majority don't have it, have never had it and will never get it. Nor does it automatically place you at the top of the stack either. Its just valued a bit if you have one, that's all. And that's 100% reasonable.

As for the volunteering, they're clearly not finding 100-120 Mother Teresas a month. Considering something as simple as a one day Habitat build or less than half of one day with Pilots for Kids per year (and many other things) are fully legitimate and "check that box" so to speak, its kind of hard to rationalize not being able to check it. No one is that busy.

Its probably something that in some form any top tier job would expect in a candidate to one degree or another. Considering how incredibly easy it is to "fill the square" especially relative to the rewards of a multimillion dollar career during a fantastic time to get hired considering advancement/QOL, its absolutely laughable to complain about that even in theory IMO.

Default What to study for interview?

I've recently been invited to interview. If anyone has recently interviewed and could suggest what they used to study I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!!!!

There is a Facebook group called "RSTDelta" dedicated strictly to studying for the Job knowledge test and Cog test.

Thanks! There's a ton of info on that Facebook page. Did you use a prep service?
