Default GPA

From an aviation school, how much are GPAs weighted or even considered? Preferred?

A Master's Degree is looked favorably upon and adds points, all things else being equal. So when SF said "its preferred" he was correct. That's not to mean that he was implying that its so preferred that you likely won't get hired without one. I'm pretty sure most hired the last half decade of massive hiring didn't have it.

Not having a Masters isn’t necessarily lowering of their standards if those candidates had other strong areas of experience on their application.

Most RJ pilots interviewing with me or in my class about two years ago had around 4000 total time, 1000 tpic. Some had less, some had more. Everyone had at least a BS degree. Lots of guys/girls had been through college aviation progams too.
