With that comes a very likely displacement...resulting in a second training event while on probation...

Since we are talking a little about living in domiciles... Any Delta bubbas also in the Guard/Reserve? I know Dobbins has JSTARs for ATL? Some guys I know do Stewart at NYC. Pros/Cons? How are the units and places to live?

The displacements are very doubtful, and with a 99+% pass rate on our training events, who gives a flying monkey's rearend?

Here is a thought: You could view every training event as if you are on probation

Well, it is known that the category will be reduced this fall. It is simply a guess if enough people bid off to avoid displacements. New hires should definitely consider this information when bidding the ER. I think that is probably why the positions are going unfilled. People know that the growth is only temporary.

Even if they don't get displaced, they will be stuck on the bottom, sitting reserve for a very long time, which is why most junior guys bid into the most junior category, rather than a more senior one; to move up off reserve ASAP.

Yes. I have incomplete data on the March classes. If I hear anything I will post it.
Cheers

Except for the fact that a very large percentage of them just got their asses kicked for the last decade in the regionals. Moving to the ER will seem like they just checked out of the Super eight and into the Ritz.

Can you tell me where to find what categories and bases went unbid in this AE? Thanks!

I suppose I could. But why? My goal is to minimize stress to the max extent.
I don't need to invent stress to perform well. Do you?
