I'm still wondering why there's no 3 August class... Any ideas???

Same as July I suspect. Smaller class sizes with the first one being all Compass flows. As classes shrink those flow numbers don't.

Except it was previously stated there was only 2 Compass guys left. So... I don't think that would be a class.

No, only 2 Compass guys left to be added to the seniority list. There are several classes worth that have their number but haven't gone to training due to 90-day holdback provisions. They'll be taking up 20 spots a month through November.

Since the TA was voted down by a significant margin does anyone think that the company will have to increase the class sizes?

Reading the zillion threads about the TA reducing manning requirements I would guess that if (a big IF) the company planned on the TA passing and having quick relief as a result they might have to now adjust their plan. The proof would be if they start calling more poolies for the Aug 17 class.

Is this realistic or just wishful thinking?

Good question, and I suspect no one here will know. The company could easily go either way for various reasons. The RIGHT thing to do is hire about 200/month, but I'm not in charge and the company isn't equipped to handle that many.

I would expect hiring to increase. Maybe not for that August class, but the ones right after.
