There is no sense worrying about it. There's nothing you can do. However I will tell you this that in 2008 and in 2010 certain people said the same thing and there were plenty guys that found out it wasn't true. Just saying.

I found some info back in the latest and greatest thread, but i dont think it was very clear. and I'm not really sure where to post this.......

My question is:

once complete with IOE:
1. Do we fly the rest of our shadow bid for that month?
2. Do we get training pay for the rest of that month?
3. If TOE is scheduled right after (like 3 days), do we get paid our standard hourly rate for TOE? or is that training pay?

any help would be appreciated.

For any poolies interested, it was a 2 month break from sim completion before the start of IOE. Obs dropped maybe 5 weeks into the break.

thanks dudes!

!
1. Yes
2. No, go to flight pay as soon as signed off (which usually leads to a gap, be ready)
3. Once off IOE pretty sure you're off training pay, check out PWA it lists requirements for when you get off training pay (I'm not on a fleet that does TOE so can't answer for sure)

How did they notify you? The guys at the sims didn't know how I would be notified to do my observation rides. They suggested I just keep checking my schedule on iCrew. I'm checking it every day, but it hasn't changed.

Walked by the indoc/newhire classroom a little while ago. Didn't see the drop but the guys in there said mostly 7ER's with a few 88s thrown in. Not sure on location. That really surprises me that they are still adding 7ers heading into the winter. These guys won't be done training until November at least.

It dropped in Icrew about 72 hrs in advance, and then the automated call about 48 hours in advance. I was like you and checked Icrew all the time. Then I just had to find my zen and only checked once a day after 6 pm eastern.
