My experience was different. Started on a Tuesday and ended on a Friday. The dinner was the Thursday night before the last day. They don't usually schedule a dinner before the class starts because they try to get as many higher-ups to come and their schedules can be difficult to fit in the dinner.

We just want you to get used to being a mushroom. As a line pilot, when management wants you to know something, they'll put out a press release.

All kidding aside, these are the correct answers. Delta used to give out a lot of info in the past, but changed after the furlough.

I was called today by Andy. I'm in 19 Oct indoc. One of 29 Apr CJOs had to defer for life event and will be in 9 Nov class.

So they have a 2 Nov indoc class (with 1x 29 apr cjo) and 9 Nov indoc class (with 1x 29 apr cjo) to avoid Thanksgiving. That will empty 29 Apr CJO pool. Anticipate indoc accordingly.

...so I got that going for me...which is nice...

In all seriousness, congrats, Dewey!

Correct. Nov is scheduled for a total of 40 pilots. There will be 2 flows and 15 SSP's leaving 23 for OTS.

Dec is scheduled for only 20 pilots. 1 flow and 8 SSP's will allow for 11 OTS.

So what you're saying is that a September 4th CJO will be treading water for another 6 or 7 months? Darn! I better get some water wings! This deep water is exhausting!
