All senior holdouts there now. Even they are starting to bail.

For a reference, I'd still be about 3 from the bottom on the 737 there and I've got 2000+ junior to me at the company.

You might get lucky and get CVG, but don't plan on it.

Thanks gents. Anybody experienced with commuting out of KSDF to any of the new higher bases?

In addition to all of the passenger options, you could also ride on UPS. It's their main Midwestern sort facility I believe.

If by "Midwestern sort facility" you mean world headquarters with a 3,000,000 sq ft ramp, then yes, you're correct.

Are there talks about it going away? What are the chances of a new guy getting to KCVG quickly? I'm guessing the MD would be the fastest route.

I know I'd be junior there for quite a while, but figure being junior and sitting reserve from the comfort of home would beat commuting even if it was to a line? I am more concerned about QO-family-L. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Are there other better options, maybe an easy commute from Louisville to another domicile?
Don't count on any movement into CVG. DL tends to let bases it really wants closed die on the vine to avoid triggering a paid move.

Try this website to explore which airlines fly between city pairs:

Big help jumpseating and ID90

7/21 shows 9 to ATL all mainline Looks like about 3 daily to DTW/LGA all DCI

Awesome thanks for the link. Looks like non-stops to most bases except west coast.

The next classes are 8/3 and 8/17. 8/3 is believed to be only 20 Compass flows and calls appear to have gone out for 8/17 out to folks in the 4/21 interview group. With Endeavor SSP spots included I think that class size is 30-ish.

I believe the September classes are 9/7 and 9/21, but waiting on calls or other intel on those class sizes. Hopefully they start to increase in size again.
