Any new email invites for 19 Jan? Figure if there were any defers or declines, today would be when a follow-up round of invites would go out.

Man.....mighty quiet on here for a period when we're all expecting lots of e-mails to be going out in anticipation of 100+ indoc slots a month starting in January.

Keep a positive outlook guys. I would guess that Mother D is trying to figure out the routine for using email just as we are and they admitted to having difficulties sending emails out acknowledging receipt of our questionares because their inboxed crashed from all the attachments. Growing pains. There are some concerns that if you are on a trip and don't have a smart phone you may not be able to respond within two days. Well it's two business days so to give us all the most amount of time to reasonably respond they sent the email out last Thursday giving us through the end of Monday to respond. So I would speculate that they might do the same for the spots that may become available from the guys that left for other opportunities or have to defer.

So keep the faith. Some more emails will probably go out again by Thursday. I know it's frustrating waiting for 250+ days just ask my wife.

I recommend trying to get in touch with your interview group and seeing your seniority so that way when emails/calls go out we can track how many are in a class and such.

Funny how this info was quickly cropdusted into the 26 May CJO conundrum. As if typed flatulence was thrown into the mix just to see the firestorm of confusion it would create. Now we all look at each other to see who was the culprit and attempt to make sense of the quantum mechanics at play it suggests DAL is using to call adult swim finished.

Although I am more than happy to finally climb out of this jello filled depression, it is quite the bummer that it appears inevitable that we will be unable to keep all the aquanauts of 26 May together for a phenomenal indoc-reunion. It has been a joy, honor and privilege to share the light of "congratulations you've been hired" with the greatest CJO group I have ever known.

It's a simple one page document. It asks questions you answer and send back. It's that simple.

They ask if you have anything that will interfere with your invided indoc date and flight training "for a period of at least 90 days from the start date of my new hire class". . . .Or . . . if you need to defer.

They ask if your first class medical is good to go.

They ask if your info on Airlineapps is correct. If not, fix it.

For military, they ask your current status:

a. Currently retired or separated?
b. Going to be and on what date?
c. Active but available permissive TDY or Sep Leave?
d. Guard or Reserves and will remain as such but can make the indoc + 90 work.

Sign, date and email back. Call and make sure they got it.

PM me if you want to see the actual document.

Man, that would suck...
I am a 23 Jun CJO and some from my group started receiving the email stating background checks were complete. I emailed them and received an email back from Mr. Krabie stating that if there is something that comes up in the background check you will be notified. It was a relief to receive real correspondence from them!! At least they know I'm alive!! 😎

Glad you heard from somebody!

I know they keep saying "no news is good news" but when some of your bro's/bro-ette's get notifications that you don't, after awhile it kinda makes the hair on the back of your neck stick up. As for me, I'm still on the newer side of the pool (2 1/2 months) so I'm just here for the humor. Well, that and the fact that I've got nothing else to do....

I wonder if it's better or worse for new hires that this spreadsheet exists. Back in 2000, when I was hired, once you had a CJO, you just went about your life, and one day, the phone rang and someone asked you if you could be in class in two weeks.

For me, being able to log on every day, (hour,) to see what the slow trickle into class is, would drive me loopy.
