I would imagine most if not all of the drop for next couple classes to be the MD88 and 717. Given that, what's the benefit of one over the other not considering bases? Let's assume NYC for both.

Totally just a wild a$$ guess but with the numbers available for the md and 717 on that bid vs 737 I wouldn't be surprised. I hope not either.

It might play into what base you ultimately want.
I would say maybe a slight advantage in 88 getting to Atl quickest and also to get msp.
If you want lax pick 717 for sure as well as Dtw or Atl.
If your holding out for quickest possible move to sea then pray for a 73n slot!

All-

Request all PM me with your last 4 (i.e. 76xx - name not necessary, I'll just use your thread alias...). I will gather the data in an effort to publish where we can expect to sit in our Indoc class Senority.

This may help us figure out how the eventual drop might pan out and where we can expect to be selecting. For example, you may have an 83xx last 4 and think you'll have your pick but there may be 35 9xxx in front of you!

For those in the March 14 class, with the bid closing at noon on March 14, do we get to bid on the AE? And if we do, is it getting the first award through the AE or just bidding for a different base in the AE after getting the airplane in class?
