That is awesome! It's a tough choice for sure. Hopefully all the majors will be opening up to these types of opportunities.

Unreal. There are actually 3 capt awards to nyc88 that were Jan-feb 2014 hires.

I'm new, but to throw more fuel on the fire and maybe help the decision between AA and Delta...which one is better for you for location. As always, that could change and probably will over the years, but living near domicile is reportedly and majority-supported as being HUGE for QOL. Plus you can always leave aa when delta calls if you want. Not a bad problem.

Very helpful, thanks, but it looks like American is coming out on top in every category.

Jessie -

What's your CJO date with Delta?

Good luck with your decision. Hey, it's nice to be wanted.

5 Aug CJO, so looking like around the first of April for Delta training. I may still make the jump to Delta after I go to American for training, but I haven't made a decision about going American yet either. Still trying to weigh all options. I know there is another guy in my 5 Aug class that is flying for SW right now. Unknown if he will bail on them and go Delta when the call comes in.

Is the option to get health insurance/vision/Dental for the family offered in INDOC? If so, when does the coverage actually start? Thanks!

Yes.

Immediately. It may take a few days for the system to update. Certainly by the end of Indoc

5 Aug? Shouldn't you be sitting in an indoc class by about the end of Feb? BadgerNed's spreadsheet shows 132 ahead of you (5 Aug). If they put through ~100 a month, shouldn't you be going by the end of Feb/first part of March?
