Details on Delta TA
repeat after me:
"it only affects a small group of pilots."
we've evidently are throwing small groups of pilots under the bus all over the place. But it will make us more efficient, so that we can go out and beat the competition as one pro TA person advocated on FB.

Whiners.

Come on you whiners, this has been strategically planned by your union just in time for summer. There's plenty of shade under the bus, and you guys are ignoring the huge contractual gain this represents. Do you know how many pilots would love to have their very own spot under the bus?

Not to mention, it's where UCAL pilots are and USAir pilots. If we're going to be industry leading we need to step up off of this curve and get under the bus.
Besides that, it's not a concession, it's a give, it only hurts 2% of the pilots, the Company assured us that it will be fine even though they didn't want it in the contract and they said this is your final offer and dropped the mic and walked out of the room. Also, PEB. Also, 8633.
Here's a thought from FB, signing off on this ta doesn't make us better than the other pilot groups, it just means we are willing to accept concessions to get a contact done early. That's not necessarily good.
I really don't see where the fear is coming from. I'm content with what we have now until they come up with something better, NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES! No fear at all. BTW...over 55 and only voted NO because there wasn't a HE!! NO option.

Just finished a four day. Guy I was flying with (nice guy, good flyer) was leaning yes on day one with his reasoning that even though it sucks, it won't get better. By day four he admitted he had more thinking to do. I have no doubt he'll vote yes when he's alone with his iPad. Two jumps sweaters were vocal "no's". My question, what do you guys think? Are there enough of us to overcome the quiet "yes"'s?

He went ballistic on me. Did I mention he was on the js?
This time around, just the opposite reaction from captains and jsers.
