Sigh, go read it all again. I'm not believing what I'm speculating, I'm believing where the evidence is pointing here. We have no other choice because the utterly dysfunctional MEC administration has gone radio silent which is normal for them in times of dysfunction. I would ask if you're so delusional that you believe pay has not been discussed thus far...because your reps say so...even when our reps HAVE NOT been substantively briefed lately - but delusional isn't the word. Naïve is the word.

C2012 passed and the MEC administrators did nothing but tout that it clearly led the industry. They still claim it today. So if C2012 is any guide, another non-industry leading contract may well pass again.

I don't think it will. Our pilot group has shown itself more than willing to forgive process messes. C2012 was a flat out ignoring of our process...DALPA is still here. The recall of Kingsley Roberts was a terribly embarrassing process mess...DALPA is still here. The CDO debacle was another embarrassing process mess...DALPA is still here. I see a pattern.

Who would you donate money to in order to see the end of ALPA?

What would be the most refreshing is if we line pilots elected reps that have the courage to turn down this upcoming signed TA and send the shadow MEC back to the drawing board.

Whether you are one of the 10 reps that believe in surrendering at the earliest opportunity, or one of the 9 reps that aren't afraid to follow our process, the one thing all reps should have in common is to not be afraid of the MEC administration when they make reps irrelevant.

On another note, it is absolutely incredible that management would be allowed to "brief" our reps in closed session DURING Section 6 negotiations. The only briefing of our reps should be by the negotiators themselves...NEVER management. I've never seen such a weak MEC administration in my life.

Take a deep breath man or you won't make it to the TA.

How many posts is that today anyways? I'm gonna have to ignore you just so I can catch up on PD and Jerry's paranoia. :p

You remind me of one of those guys that is always telling stories about all the *********s that he flies with. I always want to ask that guy who the common denominator is in each story...Maybe, just maybe, everyone else isn't out to screw up your (and their) PWA.

You have a low regard for ALOT of your fellow pilots. How many is it Carl? All the "surrender early crowd from 2012" plus the current admin AND all 19 cowardly sitting reps? You sure run into a lot of *********s.

Soooo....Who's the common denominator?

Have a good night.

I know that passes for powerful debate in the DALPA echo chamber. Not here.

Thx! Assuming Anderson wants it signed early? Any idea when we might actually see a TA?

Carl, your idea of debate is overwhelming the audience with your noise. If anyone disagrees with you, they are labeled as part of the surrender early crowd or whatever the insult du jour is.

I have no desire to debate with you. I had my fill 3 years ago. The point of my post was simply that you are constantly railing against a growing number of Delta pilots, and can't seem to grasp that they're/we're not out to get you.

Carry on

Management has publicly stated that they want the contract done by the amendable date. They appear serious given the pace of negotiations, but it's anyone's guess at this point as to when/if we will see a TA.

Anything else you hear at this point is rumor/conjecture, most likely laced with a heavy dose of one agenda or another.

Welcome to Delta! It's a great time to be here, despite some of the beyotching you may read/hear about the negotiating process.

I know you have no desire to debate. Just the same stuff that passes in the echo chamber and staunch defense of all things DALPA.

Boring and predictable.

Carl
