RH thinks he's the smartest guy in the room, he'll tell you himself. Crunching numbers doesn't make you a genius. Kids in Singapore can do that stuff. Beating the former HR guy, the U of Va Phi Beta Kappa will be the proof.

It's bad enough when you have to worry about the other side, but when you spend equally or more time worrying about the ones negotiating on your behalf…..

FYI, The JCBA was passed by this margin because SOMEBODY already went in and got their own deal prior to the NWA folks getting involved. Kinda difficult to do better when over half the pilot group already had "their deal".

There is a train of thought that maybe had we all done a contract together, we all would have been better off.

You really want to go there again?

I'd love to but I wasnt there.

But I had a senior LCA bidding ER FO jumpseater flying home that was livid over what he heard. But instead of saying what he said, which would require a significant amount of F words, I was hoping someone was actually there.

But the take trips away from FOs is popping up everywhere and the thought of locking down LCA to the trips is a terrible idea if you want to retain and recruit good LCA.

Oh, I know. Those stubborn NWA guys were not playing nice so some decided to go in without them..

Doesn't matter. End result, once again, we all received less than we should have.

Also confirmed: concessionary changes to sick leave. I think it's safe to say that concession directly opposes the survey results.

Those are not rumors. Those are confirmed as approved by the MEC. As additional confirmation, note that none of the usual Dalpa suspects are denying it.

Guys, we're in trouble. It's time to mash the panic button and spread the word.

Purple nobody is refuting your BS because it's fatiguing debating with such a one dimensional pessimist. Worse yet, you aren't dealing in facts.

You have no idea what's going on in the room. You may have "multiple sources" but they're either feeding you this sensationalist garbage (for God knows what purpose) or you are hearing what you want to hear and letting your imagination run wild.

To anyone reading this stuff and giving it an ounce of credibility, contact your reps. Pin them down with direct questions and provide crystal clear input on where you stand wrt any of these issues that you are concerned about. 80 put it best a few pages ago: it's too early for pitchforks. Take the time to find out for yourself what's going on.

Finally Purple, I'd say it's pretty obvious you mashed the panic button a long time ago. Good luck with your campaign.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone. I hope you're either enjoying the time off or flying a GSWC :D

And it's laughable to think MEM would have voted in favor.

I talked to one of the MEM reps at the time. He would have voted yes

Can't be true. Purple has good information. He has sources.

Anything else is "laughable" :p

Spin it how you want. It has nothing to do with not wanting to "play nice" Stevens didn't want to play at all. That's your huckleberry. You are right about the end result however.

And you Leine are doing what you always do. Lock step agreement with the MEC administration. Your job is to tell everyone that it's way too early to grab the pitchforks...right up until the document is signed and pitchforks won't matter. It's what you do. It's what you've always done. You either have no sources, or you're lying about what is happening at this very moment. There is a huge power struggle going on right now, and it's over concessions.

Carl
