Someone quoted a rumor they said they got from APC (9/6/1/1 partially funded with PS cuts and concessions). The latest rumor over there is 8/6/3/3 (8/.25/3/3 if you consider the PS cut to help fund it); scope change regarding 76 seater, change to FO LCA OE trips, and sick leave change to mention the big stuff.

The general consensus is these numbers are ridiculous, with some saying wait and see what they tell us officially. There are some who seem willing to defend it w/o coming out and saying it, but that could just be my take from scanning too quickly.

what i heard while checking in this afternoon

7/3/3/3
2 more dc but taken from profit sharing
loss of 40 hours of sick
verification at 80 per year
no more oe bumps
no change to vacation or cq pay
no per diem increase

aint no way this piece of crap can possibly be our next cba. definitely no

If this turns out being true, we need a list of every rep that agrees this is acceptable in this environment given what has occurred these past 15 years. Likewise, the guys that are willing to go to the trenches to get this pilot group the contract they deserve should also be recognized. We want those guys present when this union gets replaced.

7/3/3/3 that will not even hit AA rates. We need 14% day for all aircraft to match AA rates on 1-1-2016.

And just like that, the pathetically inadequate JV grievance settlement is buried. An afterthought.

RA played Donatelli like a fiddle. Donatelli is playing us like a Stradivarius.

"World's best airline contract."

That's just awful!

On-sided? Are you SURE?

Every single thread gets hijacked by the same people.

I think the moderator is trying to manage an impossible situation, and vindicating the Delta MEC's unanimous decision to shut down their version of Hangar Talk. I never claimed, nor do I believe, that the current moderator of chitchat is supportive of DPA.

It's more like a 5-2 furball. And it's high school. The wackaloons over there would get banned in a week from APC.

We are always shocked at how small the raises are. Alpa will explain time value of money and tell us how this is the best offer we are going to get. There will be yelling in the crew rooms just like last time. It will pass just like it always does. It's the same thing everytime. I'm a no vote as always.

Purple Drank 06-04-2015 06:15 PM

Apparently this is what the LA reps meant when they referred to a "punch in the face."

It's pretty clear that when RA demanded an audience with the MEC, he told them they could either accept the scraps he offered now, or he would string out the process as long as he could.

And that's your sales pitch: TVMv2.0

I'm happy to string this mofo out.

Not a chance in the world that passes. 9/3/3/3 without ANY concessions and retaining all our PS wouldn't pass our reps. NFW
