It's not a quote from a movie. It is just a realization that life won't always be what you expect it to be and we well be both throughout our lives. |

Not my info and not my math. Just passing this along. I believe it's 20% reduced to 10% though.
Thanks. I realized my error right after I hit submit. |

Many on this board have set themselves up by having ridiculous and unrealistic expectations. Even if it is a good TA, it couldn't possibly be enough to satisfy many here. For example, someone just floated the rumor of pay raises that amounts to AMR + 2%, and we retain most of the PS. While one can debate the merit of that and the rest, it amounts to 21.5% compounded over 3 years. Know anyone in your neighborhood getting that deal? I certainly wouldn't be crying about it too loud.
That also would represent the top contract in the industry. Not good enough though. Really, nothing rational will meet the APC standard. |

I sure as HELL don't want a worse one, and that's what this one is shaping up to be. I would rather get parked than give up all the items being discussed.
No argument here. Just have a hard time understanding the logic of a few that we should take everything off the table at the start. |

I just hope the MEC rented the big room for Tuesday's meeting.
This one is liable to set an attendance record. Might need one of those cages they use in MMA events. :) |

Please tell me you're not in any way representing me enroute to an "historic contract." In what way would AMR +2, funded by PS givebacks (you said "most") be historic...especially with even a third of the rumored non-monetary concessions? It would be the best in history*? *history defined as the last ~15 years...or since September 11th...or during and around the greatest global financial disaster since the great depression |

Either they directed the NC to TA or the NC went rogue and went out on their own. Which do you think is likely? They conceptually gave the NC the green light during the last special MEC meeting. If they reject it now, it means the majority have changed their minds. What does that say? |
