NOT "AT RISK"

What, now I understand. It is "AT RISK" of being traded pay.

Penny for your thoughts:
How quickly did the "not at risk PS"(aka pay rates) disappear after 9/11?

How quickly did actual profits disappear after 9/11?

How much have the rules for Ch. 11 changed since that "haircut" was forced by the Company?

Are you of the opinion that PS and rates are of equal risk today as they were 10 years ago?

Not sure at what you are getting at here. As far as question #1 goes - it depends:

For about 1100 guys 100 % of "Not at risk pay" stopped pretty quickly.

I guess you proved it. Those unseen, unlisted concessions that supposedly are ruining my life are equal to 100,000 bucks. All those guys that are upgrading and getting hired are just illusions that are not real. I believe you now.

I remember back in 2004-2006, those were concessions that we all felt. Maybe sitting up in the left seat of a whale you got to float above it, but the rest of us know what real concessions feel like. This ain't it. This is the opposite.

Are there 800-900 NEW captains or 800-900 MORE captains?

One of the biggest walk off in a huff and me not asking for anything to eat or drink was with an ATL flight attendant who was ranting that she didn't want a union......especially when she found out I was a north guy. Anyway, I tried to be nice.......told her I didn't care (I don't) but finally I said "look, you have a union.....it's called ALPA, I just wish you would help out with the dues thingie".

Didn't go over well.......but I hope you see my point. I could care less if other groups have a union or not. But, if they are going to enjoy what we may or may not get, they need to pay us dues:D

Ferd

Welcome back and congrats Ferd, missed your humor.

A lot of newbies may not realize (as I didn't) that KCM was funded by ALPA dues. That makes listening to the FA's at times complain about it (not to mention him it up) so much more "entertaining".

So if we were in a normal Four or five yr contract it would of looked like this 12.5/4/4/4/4, but if the negative waves man pilots on this forum (say it like in Kelly's heroes) are close in there pay predictions then our pay looks like this 12.5/4/4/15/4/4. More than a 33% increase in pay in six yrs. Not to shabby IMO. But like others have said it all depends on the rest of the contract.

Depends on when you got hired.

Well for 98% of us this is the figure. The other 2% can have their battles for along time to come..

asacimesp 06-07-2015 09:06 AM

Any word on whether training pay/hotels will be changed to catch up with the rest of the industry?

MOTOJOE 06-07-2015 09:09 AM

There's nothing factual on these posts. And as you can read there is a lot of arguing over nothing, as of yet. Soon the real blood bath will begin!
