Histerical and sad at the same time. Nothing is funnier than the truth. What is it about these suckers that they so badly need a pat on the head and to be told how smart they are? |

The way it was explained to me was the C Series was way too expensive and not even proven. They were saying E190 not 195, I think the 195 would be better.

Actually, if you formulate the trade as I suggested above, there will never be a scenario in which you come out behind.
If we went from 4-6B/yr in profits to a loss, you can bet they'd come for a "haircut" and probably get it if it lasted long enough. We would never get the same PS levels back again though in any circumstance once we trade it away. |
From Deltanet:
Delta reaches tentative agreement with ALPA June 5, 2015 Delta has been in negotiations with the Air Line Pilots Association for a new pilot working agreement. On Thursday, a tentative agreement was reached with the ALPA negotiating committee. Out of respect for the next steps in the ALPA process, Delta will not be offering further comment at this time - both with employees and outside of Delta with the news media and others. Further information will be shared when it’s appropriate. Your profit sharing is perfectly safe, the pilots survey requires they would never give that up however, we will be unable to show you the results until after ALPA releases them. We will not be commenting further out of respect for the ALPA process and their time honored tradition of secrecy. |

Then subtract 2% per year for inflation 6/0/1/1 Historic If true this is the easiest no vote in history. |
Have they published the times and location of the special mec meetings next week?

No way it's C-series, and no way it's brand-new jungle jets. The mainline rates for Embraers would have to come way up to get me to notice, anyway. Current Delta PWA rate is $131.42 for the E190, and $154.48 for the E195. That's less than the right seat of the ER.
There are some other pay rates they have to work out. I was hoping to see the C-series in Delta colors - it looked like a possible future Mad Dog replacement, but the stars just aren't lining up for it. |
