It's not on the calendar yet. You will probably get at least 4 days notice to arrange your travel.

Attachment 2140

There was a part 2 but I can't find it.

Where they agree to longer flight/duty days in exchange for a RedBull at top of descent.

Deal.

You buy the Red Bull though.

What are you willing to give up to get the C-series?

5 day trips.

No way it's C-series, and no way it's brand-new jungle jets. The mainline rates for Embraers would have to come way up to get me to notice, anyway. Current Delta PWA rate is $131.42 for the E190, and $154.48 for the E195. That's less than the right seat of the ER.

There are some other pay rates they have to work out. I was hoping to see the C-series in Delta colors - it looked like a possible future Mad Dog replacement, but the stars just aren't lining up for it.

They're saying a firm order of 50. That'd be new. If they are right.

That's based on the assumption of reducing the first tier of PS (the limited section) and then the company profit falling below that threshold within that tier. That would be a lot of lost profits (the second tier would be completely gone in order to get to that point). That is a pretty narrow range to be in that scenario, yet not running losses.

If we went from 4-6B/yr in profits to a loss, you can bet they'd come for a "haircut" and probably get it if it lasted long enough. We would never get the same PS levels back again though in any circumstance once we trade it away.

The bottom tier of profit sharing has a defined value. If we monetize that into payrates, the absolute worst case that would result in is breaking even. We couldn't lose money (which we easily could if we kept it as is and the company started doing worse). Keeping the top end ensures that we participate in any upside. It's a win/win that way.

I don't know if that's what the TA did. But I do know that's what I hope they did.

If that has been done, we would have self-funded part of our pay rate increase.

C066 has put out that the special meeting will be June 9 with the vote on June 10 at the Renaissance Hotel. Both will be in open session.

In all fairness, would you expect a guy to admit to those things if he could plausibly deny them? I wouldn't admit, either.

Back to your regularly scheduled sales job.

True dat. On both accounts.

What's also true is that sales team ALPA is coming out of the dark like roaches here!

Social media has the ability to be a game changer this time. As someone pointed out at Chit Chat, at least this time we have a forum we can openly share info and strategize recalls if necessary.

Easy button! Yay!

The Legacies have 2 flights per day into the Gulf? That is why they are crying? Maybe they should have been expanding over the last fifteen years into the market, instead of gutting salaries, closing bases, socializing pensions, and racing to the bottom with "bundling". And we defend them?

I am waiting to see the entire deal and make a call on a yes or no vote at that time.

Do you know it's not a POS? No you don't. I know a piece when I see it though.

Guess what, if just the rumors are true, it's definitely a giant POS and that floating turd won't flush. I also don't need you to tell me what it is or isn't and try to pass it off to anyone who will listen that it's actually a scoop of misunderstood vanilla ice cream

Hey, you're right. It seems to stink now, but I can wait for 6 days before we determine if we have to flush it or not. I'm gonna guess it's really, really gonna stink after it's revealed by then.
