First, I appreciate your efforts. I'm not one of they guys who think you're spies or have other agendas and like I said I appreciate your efforts at education.

There are a lot of "old heads" for lack of a better word, who have been on here since the merger contract and SLI discussion. We come and go (I just came off a 6 month break to get my mind right) and its great to see the old heads perspective.

With that said, since I know your in contact with some of our senior leadership, I need to say the following and please take it back to them.............There are lots of the moderates that don't come on here much anymore that think this contract is a mistake. I point to myself, Denny Crane, shoot even CogF16 who I haven't seen on here in years.

I'll tell ya, we're the swing voters (most of us voted yes last time) you need and trust me........we're underwhelmed!

Food for thought,

Your Uncle Ferd
Yep.. I am amazed at the amount of guys who are completely disgusted now (mostly with the givebacks like 23g5) that who voted yes for 2012..

Not gonna be an easy sell.

What supporting data suggested this was even a remote possibility for our TA?

When we were sold the JV at it's inception the major point I remember was the EASK metric was good for DL pilots because of our smaller gauge WB fleet.
I'm still wondering about this. It seems like an earth shattering concession. What am I missing?

Also, is SEA a hub in the TA or not?

This too. While this is the mother of all panic cord issues, I'm still in disbelief that we could have agreed to something like this and why? Maybe it comes down to the definition of is or something. But I'm only seeing a huge downside.

If you call this lucrative, you're a troll.

How can going from 67% BH to 50% BH in the biggest JV in the system be "not so bad"?

Again, there is more to follow. We will offer a full explanation as soon as we can.

Sorry not to have a full accounting for this yet. But we will get you the facts as soon as we can.
Prof,

You are welcome to play along, but this TA needs no explanation...you know like a baby barfing on your shirt needs no explanation.

As I said the details seems to explain it at the time, but there was so much info covered rapid fire that I honestly don't remember. I've been trying to get some clarification, so I'm not read to pull the panic cord....yet
