DALPA NC: That sounds fair. Deal.

Management: We want more 76 seat jets for DCI.

DALPA NC: What will you give us for that?

Management: 15 minutes of vacation. Pay, no credit.

DALPA NC: Wow! you are generous today! Deal.

Management: We want to downgrade your sick leave you paid for with massive concessions in C2012.

DALPA NC: What will your give us for that?

Management: 1% increaase in DC. In 2017, we are a little short on cash right now after giving the shareholders billions.

DALPA NC: We understand and agree. The line pilots will love this.

Management: We want to take away hundreds of trips each month from the first officers by not releasing the LCA trips for bidding.

DALPA NC: What will you give us for that?

Managment: We will talk more to the hotel committee. Promise.

DALPA NC: Holy smokes! That is awesome. This is like taking candy from a baby. We truly are a team here at Delta.
The best parodies are the ones that don't really exagerate very much. This nails it.

Perhaps this is redundant but the C2015 TA (in its entirety) is available on the DALPA website. Click on negotiations then MEMRAT.

Technically correct. But it also breathes more life into DCI by helping it staff itself with more economically viable aircraft. DCI is going to shrink with or without this TA. 100%.

Flashback to 2012 for a moment. Does anyone really think DL would have re-committed to all those hundreds of additional 50 seaters with a billion dollar investment…just to re-check, re-engine and re-contract them…just to fly out to the desert because they couldn't staff them in a couple years? Does anyone really think DL would have passed up the amazing deal of SW basically paying us to take a plane that DL management and marketing absolutely loves and wants more of?

With or without this TA, they will park more RJ's.

Send a message!
You can view it that way if you want. As long as he is associated with them, I will not even entertain the idea. I know you don't care, but I will betcha I am not alone

It is definitely time for the torches and pitchforks. Those that are using Tim Caplinger as an excuse not to send in a DPA card are just using that as a crutch for their inaction or fear of challenging ALPA. He has repeatedly stated he is not going to run for DPA office. His job is to get the DPA to representation vote.

Once you are over 15 days, they will use a 3rd party company to verify your illness by accessing all of your health records.

Does any other company in the U.S. have this? I'm sure North Korea and Russian companies have the same plan, but I've not heard of any in the U.S yet.
And how exactly is a 3rd party going to verify that you felt nautious or had the squirts a few days ago? Or even the same day ifits not accompanied by other clearly obvious symptoms. So by definition they will say they couldn't verify.

Then what?

Absolutely agree from this No voter. When I started reading the pay rates, I was unimpressed but thought I shouldn't judge until I read the rest. I was shocked, like I had been kicked in the junk. My reaction was that the company thought they had gone too high in 2012. I ended up voting yes on that one with a lot of deliberation; this TA executive summary took me all of 6-9 seconds. The DALPA slide show someone posted the link to a few pages was completely FUD. MFERS!

Default Code Red

I just can't get my brain wrapped around why this was not pushed back...but I really can't understand why ANY FO rep would have even thought about a yes. It hurts all but on the FO side it is complete B.S.. I feel completely betrayed.

Carl it's time to order the Code Reds!

With block hours, our JV partners will be carrying about 40% more passengers on the JV than Delta.
This is entirely unacceptable.

This issue alone is a no vote.

If and when the FA's ever do unionize, they need to understand that 100% of their scope has been gifted to them by the pilots and now its time for them to start rowing the boat. DALPA is no longer a sit back and "me too" us stratedgy.

All this is true. No reason to allow more 76 seaters at DCI. Regional pilots don't want it, Delta pilots shouldn't. The regional model is dead. They can't staff what they have. The 190's are coming if they make sense regardless.
