forgot to bid 06-13-2015 07:29 AM

Do we list on Delta net the names of lca? I wanted to go back through bid packages and see what 75% of the trips taken away actually looks like.

Denny,

There are significant concessions in the rest of the contract. There are also significant gains in the rest of the contract. Some of the concessions and gains are in the same section (look at Scope, for example).

Each person will have to look at all the details to come to an informed conclusion. Then we vote, and the majority decides our path.

I've looked for that before and haven't found it. Let us know if you locate them.

Professor,
Can you answer that one? (apologies if you already have…couldn't find anything)

To all, I could keep jabbing with PD and Carl if you like, but since I think facts put out are healthier for a real debate; I'm going to try and stick with those.

FTB, I would demand a costing of this change from the NC at the road shows. If its a concession, we should know what it cost.

I certainly hope the other yes voters have a bigger picture than you.

Denny

Denny,

I wouldn't count on many of the voters seeing much more than section 3. They'll open it up, look at the rates and start planning a vacation, boat buy or some other frivolity.

What they won't see is what Scambo pointed out, a dishonest Chicago politician in the guise of an MEC chairman, can on a whim allow any carrier to fly under Delta's colors. My brother in law's company (HP) has been shopping their labor around the world for years. When India got too expensive, they moved to Brazil, then to asia, etc.

This contract is indicative of what RA and EB think we're worth an the new section 14 adds indicate they don't trust us enough to know when we aren't fit for duty. Wonder why they think we're trustworthy enough to fly at all?

I would read the new language in section one.

Entire TA language is up at dal.alpa.org

It uses aircraft block hours now and removes all UK flying.

It's aircraft block hours. It protects us from AF being able to operate 9.5 hrs with 2 man crews vs our 3 man crew requirements.

What are the "significant" gains. Sure there are some nice things in there like the per diem no longer changes when you deviate, but most of the gains are small, while the losses are HUGE.

I'm asking in all seriousness, because while I've read the contract (concentrating on the red areas), I freely admit I might have missed some things.

The rest of the agreement is positive. Sick leave, I call in sick once every three or four years so who gives a crap. If you are sick 200 hours a year you probably need to get a doctors note or go to a hospital or something.

Wow just wow!!! I does not effect me I don't care about everyone else. More money more money.
