I wonder if there is a site where folks are congregating against this thing. It seems we are increasingly becoming more of an echo chamber of long time anonymous internet buds on APC.
I went to the Facebook anti TA page and signed up. However, I haven't been on Facebook in at least 3, maybe 4 years. I don't know how to navigate the page.
I'm a solid fear-free, happy with status quo, No phukkin way (thanks tumbleweed) vote. Easy, and probably bid to ER-A. This TA simply removes the benefit of being a money chasing and/or QOL chasing FO. This TA cements the reality that we are an un-appreciated number, not a person.
Deleted some of my further rant. Anyway, where's the congregation?

(Bolded your comment). I'm here all week.

We need to bury this TA, and any MEC folks who supported it. It is an insult.

Facebook really isn't ideal. A lot of our guys don't have it, more have it but are still unfamiliar, and it's actually a pretty poor system for having a forum-like discussion. Posts are ordered by whatever has been commented on most recently, and so some really important and well-written posts quickly fall out of sight.
I'd suggest starting with the Files link where you'll find the TA language, various NNPs, the several con papers (I wrote the Master Concession List but the Council 1 TA Summary is more comprehensive and includes both pros and cons), roadshow schedule, etc. If you go to the Photos link, it's mostly amusing memes people have come up with, but there are several video clips of Ranting Mike posted there. Otherwise, under Discussions, I'd suggest scrolling down and reading the ones with 30+ likes, they tend to be the most interesting ones (there are several with 100+).

I'm one of the admins on the "Delta Pilots Against the Contract 2015 TA" group on facebook. I was added as an admin on Monday to help keep up with all the add requests. We had 400ish pilots on there at the time, if I recall correctly. Tonight we just passed 2100, or about 17% of the DAL pilot group (we're trying to verify everyone is actually a DAL pilot when adding them).

It wasn't a concession, it just didn't do what it purported to do...
Back in C2012 (pre 717) the actual MBH to RBH ratio was 1.19:1, that is for every Regional Block hour, there were 1.19 Mainline Block Hours. Remember that was before drawing down the 50 seaters and before adding the 717 and 739.
Maybe someone from ALPA can chime in with our current MBH to RBH ratio, It certainly will be higher than 1.19:1.
Just for kicks, considering a 25% reduction in DCI (approx 600 to 450 Rjs) and flat mainline Block Hours since C2012 would make our current ratio 1.58 (1.19:0.75)
Or flat RJ Block Hours since C2012 and a 30% mainline growth in block hours as slowplay claims would make the current ratio 1.54.
If indeed DCI shrunk by a bunch and mainline increased by 30% our current MBH to RBH ratio ought to be much higher.
How much "wiggle room" does the company get with the 1.81:1 ratio if we keep adding jets and DCI is being reduced?
Cheers
George

The link to that site should be sent to every Delta pilot.

What's the pay rate difference between a narrow body and a wide body? This TA is aimed at reducing required staffing, certainly in the F/O ranks, so before you get all giddy about that 8%, look a few A/E's into the future and see if you want to be stuck on that MD88 or 737 a few more years, NOT dropping LCA trips.

Scouring the MEC site for info I came across this. Here is why there is a lack of trust, the secrecy continues. What did the P2P people have access to that I didn't? Why is there P2P confidential information?
This is from the transcript of their April conference call.
Questions and Answers
1. What did the Company’s opener consist of? It was conceptual in nature as was ours. We have costed out the company proposals and your MEC Reps have discussed and given direction to the Negotiators on the subjects brought up by the company. The rest of the discussion on Openers were P2P Confidential.
9. Are there any discussions going on with the company on Sick Leave or Productivity? The conference call discussion on this is P2P Confidential.
Trust but verify minus the verify.
