1) Defend current JV production balances.

2) Enhance our protection by using both metrics.

3) Write new JVs production balances at current production levels, not under to give a cushion to later be exploited by management.

Consider yourself helped if these are implemented.

And you OBVIOUSLY do not care is downside protection is thrown out the door. Got it. Thanks.
Begs a question, why didn't c12 have these protections? Or the original jv agreement? Why is it every ta we are told this is the best ever protection and the very next TA we need a fix, might cost us something, but it's worth it.

Actually this ta the fix is to give up EASKs for block hours, next TA we will probably say we need EASKs back and a ratio that is nothing but status quo and so on. Makes for a good rich union lawyer job protection program.

The question still stands and you don't have an answer for it.

Why are we not using both metrics, EASKs and block hours to define JV production balance?

Just keep trying to confuse and minimize. Its OK because everyone else gets it.

Bender, I know you think we are too big or too good to fail, but ask a Midwest Express pilot what happens when the company takes advantage of carve out flying. Good luck since there is no Midwest Express anymore. But forgive me Donatelli and crew would never allow that to happen to us.
Right ??????

Well, that may be I guess. There is no such thing as a bullet proof perfect contract that need never be changed. The Constitution is the closest to perfect, but that is being fundamentally changed. The landscape is continually changing. We need to adapt to those changes. I didn't like the bh provision either because of the immediate give back, but the logic of the change is sound. I know you don't agree, and I hope you are right. Time will tell.

That might be a good start.

That's fine to be angry about it and all, but now we have to live with C12. How are we protected? All I am seeing is a bunch of vitriol and no answers to the question.

We are protected in that our current JV language is the current status quo. If we change that to block hours that becomes the new boilerplate for JVs in the future...the future being next month, next year, etc.

Add in the chairman can agree to delta livery for foreign airlines.

If you can't see how that language change is a detriment then you are not capable of critical thought.
