experience has shown that EX-buddy passes would be the more accurate name...

I save my buddy passes for acquaintances that I don't want to be friends with. It usually keeps them at a distance for a very long time.

Shouldn't they be called mother-in-law passes?

I consistently use 4 or 5 Buddy Passes a year and they usually work decently. Have used them for London in the summer as well as other "higher" time travel. As long as people know going in, they are worth something. What gets me is the price increase. Domestic round trip tickets are $250 or so which I think is a HUGE increase over 5 to 7 years ago.
