And put that in the next pwa so you don't even have to think about it.

And what do you think the odds of getting that truly are?

To come out with blanket statements of "If X happens, I'm voting no" is immature. I am sure I will get tons of flack for that but I am a big boy and I can handle it. My point is that we have a rapidly changing pilot dempgraphic in terms of age. So here is an example for you: If we vote to provide newhires with hotel rooms, I am voting no because it takes money away from my pay increase. I do not GAS about that. See how stupid these things are getting?

You can't even say if TA15 is brought back you'd be a definite no?

So the guys newly hired, and those yet to be hired are going to reap the benefits of our steadfastedness while many of us are under the wheels of the bus. Maybe the tradition of captains buying beers needs to change.

Time value of money. (Sorry, I gotta go with Warren Buffet on that one and not some faceless keyboard warrior.) Again, I am not advocating a bad deal nor do I have any agenda. (I am really getting tired of saying that but some don't seem to get that I am just expressing an opinion). The longer we go without a pay increase the further behind we are.

Its called restoring the profession. A selfless "sacrifice" was made by 66% of this group, the fact that you are in the minority did not change. Sorry for your loss but we are correcting a wrong here. Many of us spent the last decade plus further behind.

Sure I would. Good grief.

I have a 1991 copy of the ALPA magazine tht has the title "Restoring the Profession" It seems that is all we ever do. I keep it just for the chuckle.

Ok, I'll be more specific. Restoring the value of the Delta contract lost during the bankruptcy era. That includes: pay rates, retirement equivalent and quality of life. This is the time to achieve this goal given the economic environment Delta (and its employees) helped to create. Concessions are a non-starter, we can save those "negotiating tools" for a rainy day.

Having the letters A-L-P-A on the publication should be your first clue it was a joke....

I'll trade my 15 years of regional flying for your deadzone any day. Remember pilots just starting at Delta didn't have it a peachy life either.

Who said otherwise? But when it comes to your job at DAL you haven't lost anything.

Yep. Without a doubt. So you can mail it in right now because there will be some sort of what will be consodered 'concession' by someone. I'll take that to Vegas and put my entire net worth on it.

To each his own, have fun in Vegas!
