Can you tell us how much capacity has been removed over the last few years and how much they plan to remove in the future?

I think the second half of 2016 is going to see a ~1% decline in international. If you listened to the latest presentation, it was addressed as a mitigation to FOREX exposure.

16 747s....yes some are gone...some remain
72 767-300/300ER
16 + 72 = 88
That's how....
I'll welcome an order...but I'll believe it when I see it.
And some of the 50 AIRBUS widebody orders are hailed as 747 replacement (A350)...and also replacements for 767s....and those are not my words

They are have ordered replacements for the domestic 767's. They may be A321's but they are ordered. You seem to have invented a mythical retirement schedule for the 7ER's. Counting already retired airframes is another strange metric. Might as well throw the L1011's in there! If you are going to do that however you should add the A330's delivered the last two years into future orders.

It, as most things at Delta, is relative to GDP and a moving target. You don't defer orders if you intend to grow.

I never mentioned a retirement date...but the ERs won't fly forever. And you've helped make a point....A321s....they are not widebody aircraft.
Thanks...have a blessed day...you are the smartest person in the room. Pat yourself on the back

I still don't see anything about cutting capacity. All the articles state we have reduced future growth plans however still plan to increase capacity.

Did you notice the increase capacity at Aeromexico? Our soon to be subsidiary has increased capacity, how do you think that will affect our production balance negotiations? Delta controls it all so... whip meet saw.
