They would have to pay me to keep mine.

I just purchased a full Windows 10 Hp for a little over $200. It is not for gaming and the RAM and Hard Drive are minimal but is much, much better than a surface and worth every penny.

It does not have a CD drive but you get an external that runs off a USB if you want to.

So far I like this computer a lot.

Easily better than a Surface 2, but not a Surface 3 or Surface 3 Pro. I recommend a Surface 3 Pro with the Surface 4 Typecase, but it'll set you back way more than $200.

$100/tablet, able to purchase up to five. (I'd recommend against, as there'll no longer be any automatic software updates. Your S2 will get slow....quick.)

All I do on my laptop is surfing, emails and Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. 8 hr battery, decent sized screen. $100 seems like a no brainer

Until MS stops supporting them and then you have a $100 paperweight.

So far, factors have changed to help us. UAL, AMR, and UPS raised the bar (they just as easily could not have). Anderson retired and Bastian is not compelled to uphold promises that were made before he took command (that just as easily could have been different). The company is still making money (anyone who's been in this industry any length of time knows that is no given).

In short, the risky gamble might still pay off. I hope to hell it does. But there are strong indications that we are trying to double down. So until we sign a contract, I think I'll hold off on opening the champagne that some seem to be drinking.
Turning down TA 15 was about much, much more than just the pay rates. There were all kinds of objectionable sections that were much more unacceptable than just pay. It was turned down as a total package!
