It was a Fed POI for another major carrier. He stated the airlines were actively working on it however the discussion of cognitive examinations were giving the various management teams great pause. He seemed to think it would be a bandaid until single pilot aircraft are entering the scene. He also mentioned China will need 100,000 pilots in the next two decades.

They didn't just do zero to fix it, they made it worse. The 5 years of no movement decimated the flight training industry which is only just now recovering.
