It absolutely is not flame-bait in any shape or form. Every airline out there has made concessions. I can't figure out from a cursory glance of the AIP's exactly what concessions SWA made, and neither can you, but every airline out there made concessions. Every one.
What I put up is a statement of fact. Expecting zero concessions is outside the envelope of all recent contracts. I have been reading these boards, and every pilot group highlights their concessions better than you or I can. All of them have concessions to talk about.
I suggest you re-read my post.

That is exactly what I am talking about. I never said anything about expecting a contract with zero concessions but since you seem to think that I did I will allow you to quote me.
Take your time. Hint - you can click on my name and it will bring up every post that I ever made. Please show the one where I say I expect zero concessions.
Thanks.

Yep...me too...I agree Doug
And I'll take a continually accruing sick bank with no limit like SWA has
And No sick verification like SWA has
And the Ability to call fatigued and not get hassled and paid for a trip like SWA has
And No PBS like SWA
I swear some of you...and you know who you are could try to point out holes in a boat built by Jesus himself.
Some of your veiled attempts are beyond pathetic. If SWA got a deal that gave them an 18% 401K, and a DOS 40% pay increase, some of you would still find ways to be a Debbie downer

Any group that expects not to give up anything at all is saying that they are going to do something else no one else has done. We can't simultaneously use the rest of the industry as an example, and not factor in the industry in our discussions.

No airline out there did anything without concessions. If you're holding out for zero concessions, you're totally outside the envelope of what the industry is doing.
So since there ARE gains and concessions, I think you have to know a lot about costing at each airline to evaluate the values of the respective TA's.
Glancing at the highlights at SWA, I can't really figure out exactly what they did to their Section1. They say it's better, but don't we all?

Ummm...... We just did a 2 yr extension with ...... 0 concession. But I guess UAL isn't in the industry?

I will agree that there is a bit of confusion as to exactly how to account for it by the various actors. I haven't heard any rumors as to how we, the company, or the NMB are specifically considering it.

Yeah, I guess letting the company launch ULH without prior approval of ALPA for all 121 of our airframes that pay 305/hr was a concession.
Venture to guess what our most senior flying is?????
