Skywest vs Endeavor vs Envoy

You think you're joking?
Years ago Ornstein said exactly that to me. He wasn't joking.

We can do this all year going back and forth over who is better. Bottom line is that what's best for you isn't what is best for someone else. You have to determine what is best for you. I don't think you can make a bad choice if you go with anyone of these unless you choose to commute. If you live in base for one company and commute for a different company then it better be for a good reason.
Pay: Skywest is lacking a bit.
Rsv: It's going to be relatively short for all three companies.
Upgrade: all three are hiring like crazy and will likely continue to do so. All three companies will have low upgrade times. Envoy is dropping and will drop just like endeavor and skywest dropped recently.
QOL/schedules: Envoy is the only one lacking in this area.
Bases: Well that really personal so it will vary person to person. Skywest may have a leg up due to the number of bases.
Flow/pref interview: it is what it is. It's nice to have in the back pocket but it's along ways off. If you have a clean record then it's not going to mean much in the long run, however if you have a few marks then it may be the only way to the majors.
Company: Endeavors bankruptcy history, AAG whipsawing Envoy, Skywest pillaging ExpressJet. Don't let anyone think their management is any better or worse than the others. It's just business.
Benefits: I'm not too educated on this topic across all three companies so I'll refrain from commenting

I will echo what pedro4president said. Numerous attributes can be discussed ad naseum, pay, upgrades, resvere, benefits aircraft, hotels on over nights etc. The one factor that is often over looked on this entire forum is Time. It's infinite and finite, very peculiar indeed. What I am getting at is, pick the airline that has the base where you want to live. This job, this lifestyle makes a giant time sucking sound that keeps us from our families. Commuting half way across the country makes that sound ten times louder it all the more worse.
Having done a two leg commute to reserve previously to a company that eventually went bankrupt with no end to reserve in sight and perpetually 30 numbers from being furloghed, I was as bitter as could be. I bailed and have been doing other types of flying for the last five years but again that time thing got to me. Being gone all summer chasing fires, never seeing my kids. This time around I chose to move to my base and have that time, have a 20 minute commute by CAR. There is always more money, more job, more upgrades, more airplanes, more free hotel breakfast. There isn't more time. Go where you can be home or go and make a home.

Retention bonus of 23k PER YEAR from 2015 through 2018 for ALL PILOTS on property seemed unrealistic at that time as well, since no other airline had anything even close to that back then, or even now.

They were also going through Bankruptsy and just got bought by and bankrolled by delta to keep the lift going. Regardless of being owned by delta they will need to be financially competitive and giving everyone a $20 raise is u likely even tho first year pay scale is already $6 below anyone elses. Endeavor FO tops out 40$ a hour most regionals that's second year pay and I know people will say well I'll upgrade...what if you don't?

effect Sept 1st. 1st year FO payscale should be in the $40's/hr PLUS
training bonus. 2nd year FO should be $60's/hr.
The cost per seat mile if you cant hire and are shrinking will go much higher if your paying 200-300% to cover flights. If you want to keep
working for a low paying regional be my guest. But don't try to use it
as a selling point when every other regional is increasing their pay.
