It's got to be $25.56 an hour (current NH actually gets $63.33; a year ago it was $55.56) pay increase or people will start leaving, I would imagine. Anything less than $25.56 is a min guarantee pay cut, and an insult to the industry. I hope it doesn't come down to this.
So are you calling them that?
Its not going to be $55.56/hr
They will agree to a training completion bonus of $10k+

Do tell why they didn't just bump up your hourly rate to begin with and instead offered a bonus? I'll give you a hint, bonuses can come and go as they please, base rate stays for length of contract and they were obviously unwilling to raise it at that time. Why do you think they will raise the base rate now? If they can staff now because upgrades or qol is good and the bonus is no longer needed why would they continue to give them? Goodness of their hearts? Its not technically a pay cut if they stop bonuses because you knew there was a end date for bonus payouts, so if you adjusted your spending to allow for a bonus to be infinite then idk what to tell you.

If they only agree to 10k completion bonus you'd still be lower than most regionals based on hourly rate, and I'm not just saying SkyWest I mean most. I hope you guys get it I really do I'm just trying say be realistic

What we have to offer isn't our cost competitiveness , it's our Mainline like reliability and customer service, which Delta has been willing to pay a premium for. Rolling the bonus into pay rates while being a little more expensive for the company due to 401k matching and the such, shouldn't have a huge impact on our cost competitiveness. Thats just my guess though.

The base rate isn't higher than Skywest, you'd need $6 a hour minimum to get that level and if you're a FO longer than two years you'd need even more. Factor in 10k rewards at SkyWest I think you're pretty close and that's if you get to roll the bonus into pay scale. Notice there's a difference between a reward and a bonus.

For 50-76 passenger scheduled service? They are paying for quality and
control. If you feel that your over paid then give some back.

A $20 pay increase to current rates would be a lot higher than others and sorry you're not worth it, if they can get it cheaper anywhere else. Just don't let your heart be broken if they don't roll it into hourly rates. If they wanted to give you a hourly rate increase they wouldn't have started bonuses to begin with, so you really not realize that or are you a troll? Lol

As for your "They can take the bonus away any time", you are talking out of your a$$ again. The bonus is contractual, exactly the same as the base rates. It's not some random promise, it is guaranteed until the end of 2018, and is the reason Every 9e pilot makes more than anyone at your carrier when you compare across pay steps. Can it go away at the contract's expiration? Sure. I'd take that over the promises, hopes, bubblegum and unicorn farts that guarantees what non Union Skywest gets.
