This TA is a lot better than what we have right now. I'm a yes vote to lock it in. A bird in hand is better than two in the bush. Despite that, we need to keep pushing for more.
For a different perspective, if we raise the bar, other airlines will too. Once they do, that helps our position.

There is a secret 9E facebook group that now has upwards of 600 pilots included in the TA discussion. Based on the recent internal polling within this group (which represents at least or almost half of the voting pilot group) the TA will be voted down easily. I'm kinda surprised by this, but looks like the younger crowd is doing their homework and is willing to send it back to the table for some much needed improvements given the current state of the industry. Looking forward to seeing the second proposal. I sure hope they bring us something with better career progression.
Tell that to the SkyWest Facebook page... what people say on social media is not what they vote. We found that out .. i hope you hold out for a “true” flow!!!! No fear of bonus money going away in this time of short staffing...

If you want a flow, come over to the AA Wholly Owned regionals- we’re all hiring...
I can see the portion of the pilot group who 2xfailed their DAL interview and face career stagnation if they don’t try to get on somewhere else voting no out of spite but anyone who thinks they’re hirable at legacy are (and should) probably going to vote yes.

Congrats 9E, I wish I was a new hire entering the industry as 9E would definitely be on the top of my list even if it was a more challenging commute.

It is an 18 month freeze on equipment type only, not base. You can change base at any time. If a new base were to open, then the equipment freeze would go away if someone wanted to go to that base. You also can upgrade before 18 months, but only on the aircraft you are already on. You then would still have to wait out the remaining 18 months after upgrading. It doesn't cost them money to have you change base. It costs alot of money and time to train you on a new aircraft...

The lack of respect from DAL for our pilot group is appalling. They should have done much better than a spit in the face with career progression. Voting NO on principle. Really need to encourage all the young pilots out there that starting out at an AA feeder is a much wiser career move. For 1, better chance at getting into DAL, #2 Guaranteed wide body slot if all else fails...I sure hope those who are ready to make the 121 move are not fooled by pay rates. Career progression is waaaay more important. Very disappointed in our MEC and the leadership for not pushing this issue to the forefront. Their excuse was "this isn't the right time" They will soon find out they were very wrong. Back to the negotiating table! Vote NO out of respect and on principle.
