Why don't we just wait until all the details get ironed out before we start complaining? Half of you might not even still be here by the time it gets put in place.

Because they dropped it during the middle of the informational part of a TA process. Clearly a slap in the face, showing they don't really give 2cents about what happens at 9E.

Are these individuals subject to the same Delta *pilot* interview as everyone else, or at least the 1st day portion with the face to face all the computerized tests??

Are you REALLY that daft??? You are a pilot already. Making money. This program is for people who barely have any hours, and are probably never going to become a professional pilot on their own. But if they show the inclination, and are willing to put forth the effort, Delta will assist them. What is wrong with that? You will NEVER compete with them.

Sure we are competing with them. Delta loans them money, indentures them into some long term training contract scheme with extremely low pay for a certain amount of time.

You might. That ramper or whoever keeps their longevity. When you get bumped by them because years at 9E mean nothing, we can have a chat about not competing.

Seems like they’ve made you look daft and a bit of a numpty as well.

The EDV MEC Chairman sent out an email to the group at 4:30pm today regarding this topic. It is a good read.

I don't want to quote it here as I'm sure DAL has minions poking around our boards, and I'm in no position to speak for our MEC, but the email was sent to our entire pilot group, so shouldn't be too hard for an active 9E pilot to find it.

This is much like the few days before the details of the TA were announced. Everybody relax and see what the details are before anyone pitches a fit and lights any fires.
