Watch DL make SkyWest the golden pony and sell off 9E. Who cares? I certainly don't. Go fill out the survey and screw with their results. We are technically Delta employees so we have every right to fill it out.

Really? Where does it say that? I didn’t see anything about EDV mentioned. Maybe I missed it.

I hope our pilot union brothers in arms over at Delta will join us to stop this end around of fellow union members. I fear we will only hear the sound of crickets from them.

It would obviously be here, we operate as close to Delta as possible, which will likely be a requirement of the FAA, if Delta wants to continue with a University program. I don't know how many candidates this will have, but probably not many, 5 years is a long time to work at Delta if you were planning on becoming a pilot. I worked at NWA for three years before Mesaba hired me, and I thought that was a while.

Why stop it, no reason to.

Sure, but if you're an office worker at Delta, been there 5 years, its real easy to run out and pick up a PPL and 100 hours, to take a shot at the program...

No way, become a flight attendant, keep KCM and get mainline pass benefits.

Why would anyone want to stop this? Several other major airlines are doing this. It makes sense as a business model.

And what is wrong with that? Many young pilots cannot afford to get 1500 hours on their own, so they seek other avenues, such as pipeline programs to other majors, the military, etc. Delta is actually way behind the power curve on this. About time they opened their eyes.

Education is the number one thing with Delta.
I personally know a handful of pilots at Delta that did not attend college...
