Well that’s a tough one. Major sh!t storm on the DL thread regarding 9E ahead of retirees. I see their side...but they don’t see ours. It boils down to a operation thing. One regional pilot can’t get to work because a retiree bumps him or her = cancellation...major effing problem. But but but ..the Delta pilot paved the way/ paid their dues/ they derserve that priority. Negative...this is a business. Go golf

I don’t see it affecting retirees too much except maybe out of Atlanta where there seems to be a lot. We’re such a small group by comparison.

I see it everywhere as S3B vs S3B1. You think retirees are a small group ?

Even when the high priority starts I don’t have much faith in gate agents honoring it, ESPECIALLY out of Atlanta. Our active employees are already on the receiving end of their faff as it is.

Just miss the flight then. Tell them you didn’t make it. If gate agents screw the pooch on seniority code identification. Fire their ass. Not doing their job.
Let’s be clear here.

I’m saying we’re a small group by comparison. Just like when we got S3B1. We’re not ahead of that many per flight.

Seems like many of your gripes are with the New York domicile. Detroit is still being awarded to new hires on the 200. It shouldn't take long to get out of NYC if you hate it that much. Anybody know what the hire date for the bottom seniority is on the 900 in Detroit?
