There are literally dozens of pilot issue forms filled out. I think I'm on 4? The point is, it takes so long for them to get resolved the company just keeps doing their thing as is. Maybe we'll get a payout 6v months from now... Maybe.... But in the meantime it's pretty rough for those going through it. Right now it's looking like I'll be on two full months before LOE. When you're used to crediting 100+ every month, it's quite a hit go the bottom line to sound an extra full month in training you didn't expect.

I didn't bring it up to aimlessly complain online, just thought people should know what's going down right now. So that can plan accordingly.

Last one I talked to basically confirmed this, that it's credited towards our 75, but we won't go over 75 no matter how long you're in pocket. The only contractual stipulation was that you had to have 2 off following 6 on. We do get per diem while we're there, but you don't get 30 days off it like on a TDY. Just your 'on' days.

They've also been very bad about clearing your schedule so you can pick up open time. Even when asked they told one guy that he wasn't allowed to pick up open time. Obviously he'll win the grievance on that, but just FYI you are allowed to as long as it's prior to MT1 I believe

You have to be up (or down) grading on the same plane, if you are also switching from 2 to 9 or 9 to 2 then you are dequaled day one of groundschool

Just keep filling out the issue forms if you have an issue... it let’s someone know that there is a problem. Also call your Union rep, you can actually talk to a real person the problems you are having with the company.

Also, you can pick up Open Time flying til your final simulator event as long as you are upgrading in the same aircraft- see the LOA 104. If you aren’t upgrading in the same aircraft, you can only pick up OT flying til you start systems training.

That's a raw deal for sure, and it needs to be addressed.

There are several grievances over this. Scheduling is still blocking off your entire month in flica which prevents you from picking up. They aren't removing the days you aren't scheduled. So no, you can't pick up.

Same aircraft upgrade. 9-9. And they've been blocking it off from day one of upgrade ground School.

Don't feel left out, there's nothing to pick up anyway. (but yes this should still be fixed.)

If you’re starting anytime soon, there’s a REALLY good chance you’re gonna get the 900 out of NYC.
