That's the million dollar question. We have enjoyed a couple years of pretty good labor and management relations. How they choose to handle this can quickly destroy that.

Well, i could be missing the full picture, but i think you can have good labor and management relations even if we scale back on staffing or lose some aircraft. Unless Delta comes looking for givebacks, then that'll get ugly quick.

I just think it'd be healthy if from now on, everyone just tell RE and TW respectfully to stop with the puffery. Clearly we are last to get more aircraft and that we might get gojets and we might not.

We can have good relations. We have been holding up our end, being the "gold standard" and all. It's up to management to handle this with integrity. They need to choose to communicate well (more than just the TFAYD stuff) and transparently about what's happening. I think we can all understand a last minute decision change from ATL. No need for the puffery as you mentioned.

We're expected to do podium announcements with our hats on every 15 min for our flight being delayed. I'd think a monthly update of the status of the long promised growth would be reasonable.

Right but i don't do any of that...so..

Seriously though, how about no transparency. Just shut up. When someone asks a question, they should just say, "look I'm here from Delta but I have no power and I'm just trying to do what I can to keep you happy employees that don't screw up NY for us."

i agree it means nothing.
I didn’t read that classes were cancelled? Are classes still going?
If you still have classes going I think I switched from meaning nothing to something big is coming your way.

Classes still going, sounds like towop for January and February as well. Just not enough credit to justify the amount of people on the list. Last January and February in lga I was issued lines with 50 hours of credit and 65 credit in December and no towop because their wasn't as many reserve people as their is now.

Are you pay protected to mini guarantee at least if the lines are such low credit?
