Attrition

They were hiring 60+ a month at one point. I'm not sure they will be able to get back to those numbers, even with these improvements.

Heard it from aka the horses mouth. Delta won't give us what we want or even take a good look until our numbers drop. If we are still performing well, than we must be fine. Attrition is up and hiring is low. I'm not saying don't do your job, I'm saying maybe do it a little less efficiently. Delta is willing to pay more later than to make the smart choice and get ahead today. A sure fire way to get their attention is to no longer be the best.

9E: “Let’s hurt their bottom line! That’ll show em! Then we’ll get what we want!”
DL: “Guys we seem to be paying a lot of money for an underperforming product.. Solution? Let’s pay MORE money!”
Pay no attention to this nonsense

Do your job to the very best of your ability and the market will take care of the rest. All will be awarded in the process in short time and we can be proud of what we do.

That's exactly what's going to happen with the horrible management of staffing levels. Take a look at the March schedules. We are understaffed and it will only get worse as we add planes and flying without a proportional increase in crews. QOL, work-life balance and morale will suffer, fatigue and sick calls will increase. Our numbers will tank. My crystal ball shows our airline's reputation slipping further and further since management has shown little interest in staffing us or attracting/retaining "gold standard" talent.
